Civic Engagement & Service

Service and civic engagement are central to what it means to be an SF Honors student. Participation in community-based projects not only deepens your education — it builds the kind of track record that transfer admissions committees and scholarship panels consistently recognize.

SF Honors students have engaged with community organizations across Alachua County, from tutoring and mentorship programs to environmental and public health initiatives. Your Honors Points may include service components that count toward civic engagement hours.
