Global Education at Santa Fe College
Santa Fe College prepares students with the knowledge, adaptability, and cross-cultural skills needed to thrive in today’s global economy. Through Global Education, students learn to work across cultures, respond to complex global challenges, and apply their learning in professional and community settings.

Study Abroad & Away
Offered during the spring and summer semesters and typically lasting one to four weeks, these programs allow students to earn academic credit while engaging directly with communities, organizations, and cultural sites both within the United States and internationally.
Through these immersive experiences, students develop practical global skills, deepen cultural understanding, and apply classroom learning in real-world settings that prepare them for academic, professional, and civic success.
Global Grants
These grants support innovative international partnerships, experiential learning, and workforce-aligned global engagement, and have long been a cornerstone of Global Education programming at Santa Fe College.

Studying abroad is a valuable experience for students. However, many are unable to participate due to financial restrictions. SF offers a limited number of study abroad scholarships each year. However, the number of scholarships available depends on the generous support of community members. We ask you to please consider donating to these scholarships to assist in offsetting the cost of study abroad program fees for SF students.
