Who Should Apply

Who Applies

Curious. Committed. Ready to Engage.

The SF Honors Program looks for students who are intellectually curious, self-motivated, and willing to engage beyond the surface. You don't need a perfect GPA. You need to be ready to get the most out of your education.

If you've ever sat in a class wishing it went deeper, that you could do more, or that you knew your professor and classmates as more than faces in a room — this program was designed for you.

Your Path

Which Applicant Are You?

Applying from High School

If you're enrolling at SF directly from high school and want to join the Honors Program from day one, we want to hear from you. Strong academic performance in challenging, college-level coursework and engagement outside of the classroom support your admission to the Program.

Currently Enrolled at SF

Already at SF and wondering if Honors is for you? Now's the perfect time. Many of our students join after their first semester once they get a sense of what they want. If you're finding success in your classes and looking for more engagement, apply.

Transferring from Another College

If you're transferring to SF from another institution and want to pursue Honors here, your previous academic record, connection with your college and community, and transfer motivation will be key parts of your application.
