TEAM Careers

Overview

Whether you're breaking barriers in a nontraditional career field or pursuing a high-demand technical career, TEAM Careers is here to support your success. The program serves students enrolled in A.S., A.A.S., and Certificate programs, with a focus on those entering occupations where their gender represents less than 25% of the workforce. Our goal is to help you build confidence, overcome barriers, and thrive in your chosen career field.

Who else qualifies?

In addition to nontraditional students, we also serve CTE students who are:

• English learners
• Homeless individuals
• Individuals from economically disadvantaged families, including low-income youth and adults
• Individuals with disabilities
• Out-of-workforce individuals
• Single parents, including single pregnant women
• Youth who are in, or have aged out of, the foster care system
• Youth with a parent who is an active-duty member of the armed forces

Here's how we help:

• Book loans for your core CTE classes
• Email updates on SF news and resources
• Friendly referrals to campus support services when you need them
• Laptop and calculator loans — no extra cost to you
• Newsletters to keep you in the loop
