Welcome to the Santa Fe College Cyber Center!
Santa Fe College has submitted an application to be designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense education (CAE-CD) by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.
About Us
In 2014, Santa Fe College was awarded an NSF ATE grant entitled: "Cybersecurity Program Development (Award Number: 1304342)”, for the project period June 1, 2013 – May 31, 2017. This ATE project developed and implemented a cybersecurity specialization within the Associate in Science in Networking degree program. It was the beginning of the college credit certificate for network security.
In 2018, Santa Fe College launched the A.S. in IT Security degree along with a security concentration in the B.A.S. in Information Systems.
In 2023, Santa Fe College was a member spotlight for the League of Innovation for the CIS2352 Ethical Hacking class collaborating with the IT department to conduct phishing campaigns. In 2024, Santa Fe College had the A.S. in IT Security degree validated through 2029 by National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.
