Frequently Asked Questions

Are there waiting lists for Health Science Programs?
The Health Science Programs do not keep waiting lists. Applicants are selected to Programs based upon a points system. Individuals must reapply each time they wish to be considered for a program. Applications are not automatically reconsidered for the following admission year/cycle.

Are there any scholarships available?
Please check the SF Scholarship web page for scholarship information.

When should I see an advisor?
It's a good idea to see an advisor whenever you are ready to start pursuing a Health Sciences program. A Health Sciences advisor can help you plan your course schedule and make sure you stay on track towards your academic and career goals.

For academic planning purposes, please ensure your transcripts from each educational institution attended are on file with the college before visiting with a Health Sciences advisor. Unofficial transcripts may be used during preliminary advisement sessions.
