Salary Increases

Salary Increases for 2026-2027

All full-time Career Service, IT Personnel, Administrative and Professional employees who were employed prior to June 30, 2026 will receive a salary increase of either 2% on their individual 2025-2026 salary or $1,000 added to their salary, whichever is higher, effective July 1, 2026.

Existing part-time Career Service, IT Personnel, Administrative and Professional employees who were employed during 2025-2026 may receive an increase of 2%. 

Full-time faculty employed 2025-2026 contract year will advance one step on the 9-month or 12-month schedule in the lane that corresponds to their title for the 2026-2027 year at the start of their contract period on either July 1 or August 14, 2026. The net increase for step advancement is 2%, which is based on an increase to the faculty base salary and corresponding step calculation.  Consistent with the step schedule, increases are based on the application of steps initiating from the step 1 salary and therefore individual increases may vary based on step placement within the schedule. 

The part-time faculty rate of pay will increase by 2% to $863 for the 2026-2027 academic year. 

Academic Chairs employed in 2025-2026 will advance one step on the schedule at the start of their contract period on July 1, 2026. The net increase for step advancement is 2%, which is based on an increase to the base salary and corresponding step calculation. Consistent with the step schedule, increases are based on the application of steps initiating from the step 1 salary and therefore individual increases may vary based on step placement within the schedule.
