SF Gym

The gym is available to adjuncts as well as full-time employees. Employees can workout in the Cybex room or the free weight room. Various classes are offered throughout the term. The gym is open Monday - Thursday from 6:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday 6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. Please visit their website at SF Fitness Center.

SF Kika Silva Pla Planetarium

All Santa Fe College faculty/staff get free admission to the ‘regular shows’ at Kika Silva Pla Planetarium when you present your valid SFID. Admission for the “Music 360” presentations is $10 for everyone, regardless of Santa Fe College affiliation.

Since 2006, the Kika Silva Pla Planetarium has been dedicated to enriching the learning environment of Santa Fe College students and our community. We employ the latest educationally innovative technology in a unique immersive-learning environment for SF and UF students, public and private school children, community groups, and the public of North Central Florida.

SF Zoo

All Santa Fe College faculty/staff get free admission to the Teaching Zoo when you present your valid SFID.

The Zoo is open every day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with last entry at 2:30 p.m. We are only closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Spend your lunch break at our picnic tables and enjoy seeing over 75 species of animals in our 10-acre, shaded zoo. You can tour the zoo by yourself or call ahead and be guided around by one of our students in the Zoo Animal Technology Program. Free RAD Personal Defense Classes

The Santa Fe College Police Department, Alachua County Sheriff's Office, and Gainesville Police Department proudly present the Rape Aggression Defense program, known as RAD. RAD is a free self-defense course specifically and only for women. Class times are 5:30 - 9:30 p.m. on the Northwest Campus in S-29.
