How CSC Gives Back

Overview

The Career Service Council (CSC) not only provides representation for the interests and concerns of SF’s technical, clerical, trade and service employees but also recognizes those outstanding CSC employees and assist CSC employees in those unforeseen circumstances.

S.T.A.R. Award

The STAR award is a way to recognize and show our appreciation to one of our fellow Career Service employees who serves Santa Fe College as a 'Staff That Are Remarkable' in 'Service, Teamwork, Attitude, and Reliability'.

CSC Scholarship

The Career Service Council Scholarship was established to promote professional development growth of Career Service employees and provides funds to assist in completing degrees in higher education at various learning institutions.

Family Fund

The Career Service Council established the family fund to help a Career Service employee with monetary assistance during unforeseen events that sometimes occur in life.

Adopt-A-Family Holiday Assistance

In the spirit of the giving season, the Career Service Council established the Adopt-A-Family Holiday Assistance fund to remind CS employees that we care for each other and are here to help support a Career Service employee in a time of need.

Saints Share Wear

This thrift store was opened by the Career Service Council to assist SF students and employees two fold. The first being that the store provides clothing, shoes, and accessories, most items being $1, for men, women, and children. The other being that the proceeds generated from the store are used to offer the CSC scholarship for Career Service employees to further their education.
