Career and Technical Education Curriculum Subcommittee

Subcommittee Information

The curriculum committees are established to provide a systematic process for reviewing and recommending actions for proposed changes that affect the college's curricula. The process should be faculty-driven, incorporate administrative leadership and support, and assure effective communication and feedback throughout the college.

The CTE Curriculum Subcommittee provides a forum for the discussion of educational matters and review of curriculum proposals originating in CTE departments. Membership of this subcommittee consists of the following:

1. Faculty chair (non-voting except in a tie)
2. Faculty chair-elect (voting)
3. Six full-time faculty members with at least one per department and at least one clock-hour faculty (voting)
4. CTE advisor (advisory non-voting)
5. Curriculum Coordinator (advisory non-voting)
6. Associate Vice President for Career & Technical Education (advisory non-voting)

Current Members

Changes to the curriculum process, which includes a new Health Sciences Curriculum Subcommittee, were finalized on April 14, 2026. Many of the current members of the CTE Subcommittee will transition to that subcommittee when fully formed, and vacancies will be filled at the beginning of the fall semester.
