ITE Students in Bachelor’s, A.S., and Certificate Programs Will Move to Blount Hall

Beginning Fall 2022, Information Technology Education (ITE) program students in Santa Fe College’s bachelor’s, A.S., and certificate programs will move to Blount Hall, blocks from UF, on West University Avenue and 6th Street. ITE classes at Blount Hall will be held in a variety of formats including face to face, hybrid, hyflex, and online.

Students are encouraged to check with their advisor before registering for classes this fall if they have any questions.

When registering for classes for the fall, pay special attention to the “Campus & Room” section in eSantaFe. Classes that are moving to Blount Hall will have the heading of “Downtown” followed by DA, DB or DC and a room number indicating that the class is being held at Blount Hall or one of the other buildings at the Blount Center in downtown Gainesville.

Welcome

From application to graduation, your advisors in Information Technology Education will help support your success. Academic advisors provide students with information and guidance to plan and achieve their educational goals. This includes course selection and sequencing. Working together with good communication and routine collaboration, advisors can help students to set goals and stay on track with achieving them.

ITE Checklist for Student

Use this checklist to keep track of what is needed prior to the first day of class. We have also provided contact information for additional campus resources. View ITE Checklist.
