“Songs of the Season” to bring holiday spirit through eclectic musical mix

November 6, 2026

Santa Fe College Fine Arts and Entertainment Technology will bring the sounds of the holiday season to the Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall — 3000 NW 83rd Street, Gainesville — on Friday, Nov. 13, when it presents “Songs of the Season.” Showtime is 7:30 p.m.

SF Adjunct Assistant Professors of Music Alek Concepcion and Wendy Gunther — in collaboration with Professor of Music Lynn Sandefur and Voices of Santa Fe — will direct a repertoire that will include a mix of traditional and contemporary choral works, African-inspired music, gospel, bluegrass-inspired and selections featuring instrumental accompaniment.

“This concert celebrates the joy of making music together and the rich variety of styles and traditions that choral music can embrace,” Concepcion said. “We’re especially excited to collaborate with some very talented guest instrumentalists and share this musical experience with the Santa Fe College community to bring the program to life.”

Tickets may be purchased online through Showpass or at the Fine Arts Hall box office 352-395-4181.
