SF names Associate Vice President for Facilities

Santa Fe College is pleased to announce the selection of Jesse Vander Biezen as SF’s
Associate Vice President for Facilities. 
With more than 25 years of experience spanning higher education facilities planning, campus development, strategic planning, design leadership, project management, and collaborative project delivery, Vander Biezen brings a deep level of knowledge and skill to the position.
Since 2023, Vander Biezen has served as SF’s Director of Planning and Design where she has played a central role in campus visioning and long-term planning, while ensuring these efforts and collegewide strategic goals align with state reporting. She also previously served the college as a Project Manager for 10 years. Prior to rejoining SF, she held a leadership role at Level Architecture + Interiors. She holds an Associate of Arts degree from Santa Fe College, a Bachelor of Design degree from the University of Florida, and a Master of Education from the University of Florida.
In her new role, Vander Biezen will provide strategic leadership and oversight of SF’s Facilities department, including the successful planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of all the college’s educational sites. She will be responsible for promoting the stewardship of SF’s physical resources to ensure all facilities and grounds provide safe, functional, and sustainable environments.
