SF closes for Spring Break; some services available

Santa Fe College closes for Spring Break Saturday March 14, and reopens Monday, March 23, 2026. However, some offices will have limited hours at the beginning on the break and some services will be available throughout.
Admissions and Financial Aid
The Office of Admissions in Building R, Room 101, on the Northwest Campus will be open Monday – Wednesday, March 16-18, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, March 18 only, students also can find help with financial aid in the admissions office.
General Information
Students can get a variety of questions answered at any time in several languages by using the Ask SF Chatbot on the homepage at SFCollege.edu.
Counseling and Wellness
TimelyCare offers students free 24/7 mental and emotional support by masters-level behavioral health professionals.
Police Department
The Santa Fe College Police Department will be open and operational 24/7 during the break. The SFPD maintains a food pantry in their lobby for students in need.
SF Teaching Zoo Open
The SF Teaching Zoo will be open regular hours from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. every day.
Spring Break Closings
Several areas of the college will not be available during the spring break:
- Learning Commons
- Lawrence W. Tyree Library (The Library reopens at 7 a.m. Monday, March 23.)
- The Fitness Center
- Kika Silva Pla Planetarium
- Museum of Earth Sciences
