SF Baseball: Saints Seek Redemption After Falling to Polk State

February 14, 2025

The Santa Fe Saints faced a tough start to their conference schedule on Thursday afternoon, falling to the Polk State College Eagles 14-5 in a shortened game due to the run-rule.

Polk State took control early, scoring in the first inning to grab a quick lead. The Saints had a rough day defensively, committing eight errors that gave the Eagles extra opportunities to score. Those mistakes, combined with Polk State’s steady offense, made it difficult for SF to stay in the game.

The Saints will get a chance to avenge their loss when they travel to Polk State on Saturday afternoon.
