SF Athletics Hitchcock Family Clubhouse project update

October 15, 2026

The Hitchcock Family Clubhouse project on the Northwest Campus is well on its way, beginning with extensive site preparation.

The planned Clubhouse, adjacent to the current concessions building, will be a significant addition to Santa Fe College’s athletics facilities, providing locker rooms onsite for the Men’s Baseball and Women’s Softball teams, something previously not available.

The 3,612 square-feet footprint of the facility will have men's and women’s locker rooms, shower rooms and restrooms, a lobby space, two coach’s lounges — one male, one female — an ADA-accessible bathroom that will also serve as an umpire's changing area/lounge, and a laundry area in the building for taking care of uniforms.

It’s part of a larger revision of the ball complex, which eventually will include repositioning the softball field and adding batting cages.

The Clubhouse is expected to open in Spring 2027.
