Due Date Information

Tuition and fees due dates are published on the Registrar’s Critical Dates Calendar.

  • Payment is due by the published date if you register on or before this date.
    • If you register after the published date, refer to My Schedule in eSantaFe.
  • Payments must be received by 4:30pm on the due date.
    • Online payments can be made via eSantaFe until 10pm, but same-day processing is only guaranteed if the payment is made before 4:30.
  • The college does not mail out invoices for tuition and fees. To view or print your schedule, refer to My Schedule in eSantaFe.

You are responsible for payment of all classes not dropped from your schedule by the Drop/Refund Deadline listed in the Registrar's Critical Dates Calendar. Non-attendance in any course(s) does not qualify you for a waiver of your financial responsibility for the course(s). If you do not pay by the specified date and time, you may lose all of your classes and will have to attempt to re-register. It is your responsibility to review your account with the college.

Tuition and Fee Schedules

All fees are listed per credit hour. Amount does not include lab fees or distance learning fees. Lab fees are per course; distance learning fees are $10 per credit hour.

Explanation of Fees

Total cost per credit hour is made up of tuition and various fees. These fees cover different costs of providing an excellent quality education and education support. In the spirit of being open and providing full disclosure, all fees are broken down rather than lumping them into one cost per credit hour. Explanation of the various fees can be found below. Florida Statue 1009.23 provides the authority to charge these fees.

Tuition — Charged per credit hour, to cover the costs of course instruction that are not subsidized by the state for in-state students.

Non-Resident Tuition — Charged per credit hour to out-of-state students, in addition to regular tuition, to cover the full costs of course instruction.

Capital Improvement Fee Charged per credit hour, this fee helps fund new construction and equipment, renovation, or remodeling of educational facilities.

Financial Aid Fee Charged per credit hour, this fee provides financial assistance to qualified students based on need, academic merit, athletic, public service, cultural arts, or other extracurricular program participation.

Student Activities Fee — Charged per credit hour, this fee funds activities and services that benefit the general student body.

Technology Fee — Charged per credit hour, this fee is used to enhance instructional technology resources and maintain current information systems

Access Fee — Charged per credit hour, this fee enhances student access to institutional resources, including but not limited to, identification cards, parking facilities, and library databases.

Transportation Fee — Charged per credit hour, this fee improves access to transportation services for students enrolled at Santa Fe College.

Distance Learning Fee — Charged per credit hour, this fee is assessed for all online courses to develop and deliver distance learning courses.

Lab Fee — Charged per course, this fee funds individual lab courses as well as maintains and improves the overall lab and classroom infrastructure.
