Potential Student Tour

If you would like to speak to the Zoo Animal Technology Program Advisor, you can schedule a Zoom meeting by emailing zooadvisor@sfcollege.edu. Meetings are by appointment only. 

Overview

Potential Student tours are designed to give individuals interested in the Zoo Animal Technology program more information about what it's like to be a student in the program, and to see the zoo. The tour lasts one hour, and you will be guided around by a current student.

This tour is only for individuals in 9th grade or above who are interested in the Zoo Animal Technology A.S. degree program. 

Tour Availability

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon
Wednesday: 11 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. 
Saturday, Sunday: noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. 

After your tour, please schedule a virtual meeting with our Program Advisor by emailing zooadvisor@sfcollege.edu to go over the application process, requirements, and any questions you may have about the program. Advisor meetings are by appointment only - drop in meetings are not available.

Please complete this form prior to contacting the zoo.

After completing this form, you will receive a confirmation email. You MUST respond to this email to confirm your tour date and time. If you do not receive an email within 48 hours of submitting the request form, please contact Guest Services at 352-395-5633. The potential student will receive free admission. All other individuals pay regular admission.

Tours must be requested a minimum of one week in advance. If you are looking to book a tour within the week, please contact Guest Services at 352-395-5633 between 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily, or email zoo@sfcollege.edu.
