College Achievement Program

Overview

The College Achievement Program (CAP) supports Santa Fe College students in becoming successful. Services offered by the program promote academic excellence and a cross-cultural understanding among students.

High school seniors in Alachua and Bradford counties are encouraged to apply to CAP’s six-week Summer Enrichment Experience. Designed to create an easy transition from high school to college, the summer bridge program helps participants navigate college with confidence. The program will motivate students, enhance their college experience and propel them to successful completion of their college degree.

The Summer Enrichment Experience offers:

  • College-readiness classes
  • Career and major exploration
  • Social skills workshops

Program Eligibility. You must:

  • Be a resident of Alachua or Bradford County
  • Plan to enroll at SF for at least 12 credit hours in the fall immediately following high school.

CAP Scholarship

Those who successfully complete the program become a member of the CAP and may qualify for a CAP scholarship. The CAP scholarship covers up to 12 credit hours in fall and spring terms and 6 credit hours in summer for up to 76 credit hours for students who continue to meet eligibility.
