Explore Tutoring and More at the Learning Commons This Spring

The Learning Commons is a place where students can study, meet with tutors and learn new skills. It is a friendly space where students can get help and grow. Don’t miss out on upcoming tutoring sessions, workshops and global film screenings happening this spring.
Book a Tutor Online or In Person
Students can now make their own tutor appointments through eSantaFe. They can meet with a tutor online or in person. Each session lasts 30 minutes.
To make an appointment:
- Go to eSantaFe and click "Schedule an Appointment."
- Choose "Tutoring" as the appointment type.
- Pick “Math/Stats” or “Natural Sciences.”
- Select a date that works best for you.
- You should receive a confirmation email and text with your appointment details.
Help With Presentations Coming Soon
Next month, the Tyree Library and Learning Commons will start helping students with presentations. Any student can use this new resource. More information is on the Canvas page.
Watch Global Films on Campus
The Library and Learning Commons will also show global films this term in room Y-130. Movies start at 2:15 p.m., and students can talk about them after. Here are the dates:
- February 10 and 11: Journey to the West
- February 24 and 25: Petite Maman
Meet the Free to Learn Specialist
On Thursday, February 13 at noon, the Library and Learning Commons will host a meet-and-greet and workshop featuring Shelby Mikkelson, the College's new Free to Learn Specialist, along with justice-impacted students.
