The Reserve Collection is located at the 1st floor Circulation Desk. This collection consists of materials instructors and departments have placed on reserve for students to use in support of SF courses.

Information for Students

An SFID card is required to borrow reserve materials. Most items are for in-house use only. Copiers and scanners are available. Those copying and scanning are responsible for observing copyright restrictions.

Materials are not available for all classes. Items are placed on reserve solely at the discretion of departments and instructors. If you would like materials to be placed on reserve, please contact your instructor.

To learn how to search for reserve materials, view the Course Reserves Video Tutorial. You may also ask a librarian for assistance.

Information for Faculty

If you would like to place materials on reserve, please complete and sign the Library Course Reserve Form. Bring that form with the materials to the 1st floor Circulation Desk. Allow approximately one week for processing.

The instructor or department placing materials on reserve is responsible for ensuring copyright compliance. Course packs, consumables (such as workbooks), and materials not intended for sale (such as desk, complimentary, and review copies) may not be placed on reserve.

Learn more on the Faculty Services guide. Please direct questions to a Circulation Supervisor at 352-395-5412 or library@sfcollege.edu.
