Program Overview

Known as the 'Wild Atlantic Way,' this trip will take you to Dublin, Northern Ireland and Donegal to explore Irish history, culture, politics, life and natural environments.

Excursions and cultural activities include:

  • Museums and walking tours in the ancient city of Dublin
  • Historic sites, castles, famine pots and immigration ports in Donegal and Ballyshannon
  • Ancient ruins and ritual sites in Caven Burren
  • Natural areas, cliffs and farming communities in Sliabh Liag and Gaelic-Speaking Arranmore Island
  • Irish food, music and art in the college town of Sligo
  • Museum of Free Derry and the Walled City in Northern Ireland
  • Irish artisans and crafters in rural and urban communities
  • Beaches, caves and cafes in Bundoran
