
Please join us tomorrow, March 3 at 10am for Dr. Ben Anderson's discussion of emerging infectious diseases and using new tools to address “wicked” health problems.
In this session, Dr. Anderson will explore how complex infectious disease challenges, ranging from zoonotic spillover to global pandemics, require innovative, interdisciplinary approaches. The talk highlights new frameworks and tools that are transforming how we detect, monitor, and respond to emerging health threats.
Dr. Anderson will also share his personal career journey, beginning as a Santa Fe College student and ultimately becoming a faculty member and program director at the University of Florida. This presentation is part of the 2026 RUE speaker series.
Faculty, staff, and students are all welcome and encouraged to attend! We will take attendance for students who receive extra credit for coming.
