Overview

Key Issuance

  • Keys may be requested by employees who are regularly appointed by the college.
  • A fully completed Key Request Form and Approval Form for Key Coordinators must be submitted to the Locksmith and SF Police Department before any keys will be issued. Incomplete and/or unsigned forms are invalid and will delay key issuance.
  • Keys are issued for duration of employment and must be surrendered upon termination.
  • Report lost or stolen keys immediately to both Facilities Services and the SFPD.

Instructions

  1. Fully complete a Key Request Form, including all required signatures
  2. Fully complete a Approval Form for Key Coordinators, including all required signatures
  3. Submit completed forms to the SF Locksmith (U-19)
  4. When approved, pick up keys from the SFPD
