Left side of the chart begins Q: Is this life threatening or an emergency? Is someone's immediate safety at risk?

  1. If "Yes" to life threatening/emergency/immediate safety at risk, then "Call 911 immediately".
  2. If "No" to life threatening/emergency/immediate safety at risk, then Q: "Is your emergency taking place during our office hours? Monday – Friday 8:15 – 4:30 pm"
  3. If "No" to during office hours, then "Call for 24/7 Support: Alachua County Crisis Center 352-264-6789"
  4. If "Yes" to during office hours, then Q: "Are you and/or your student on or near campus and can you walk into our offices?
  5. If "Yes" to near enough to walk in, then "Consider having your student or friend walk in for an emergency meeting with a counselor. You can call us prior to walking in as well."
  6. If "No" to near enough to walk in, then "Contact the Counseling and Wellness Center by calling 352-395-5508
