Academy of Science and Technology

Overview

Coming in the fall of 2023, Santa Fe College will open the Academy of Science and Technology, a high school focused on providing students a quality education in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) fields of Health Sciences and Information Technology. Initial enrollment will be open to all rising 9th graders in Alachua County. Students will follow a traditional high school curriculum until they demonstrate college readiness and begin their journey toward their A.S. degree through participation in SF’s High School Dual Enrollment Program.

Students who successfully graduate from the Academy of Science and Technology will have earned their high school diploma, an Associate in Science degree and at least two professional certifications. Students will also be able to attend the charter school at no cost to themselves or their families, eliminating a potential barrier to economic mobility.

A.S. Pathways:

  • Biotechnology
  • Surgical Technology
  • Computer Information Technology
  • Information Technology Security

Applications for the 2023-2024 academic year will be available at a later date. For more information about SF's Academy of Science and Technology, please email academy@sfcollege.edu
