After successfully completing this program, the student will be able to:

1. Analyze the foundational components of the healthcare system, including its operational and organizational structures, and accurately apply commonly used terminology.
2. Utilize industry-standard information technology applications to perform administrative and operational tasks in healthcare settings.
3. Interpret and apply federal, state, and local healthcare laws and regulations to ensure compliance and ethical practices within health care facilities.
4. Explain the principles of various healthcare reimbursement systems and methodologies and identify their impact on healthcare financial operations.
5. Apply foundational management principles to support administrative processes, resource allocation, and team coordination within a healthcare environment.
