The Counseling Center provides short term, solution focused counseling to Santa Fe students free of charge, as well as crisis intervention, outreach and consultation. The Center is part of the Trauma Response Team at Santa Fe and provides needed comfort to students, faculty, staff and families in times of crisis. Our Academic and Career Counseling help students select majors and career goals while also assisting them in developing the skills (e.g., time management, test anxiety management, study skills) needed to obtain these goals. Personal Counseling assists students with their personal issues and circumstances in their lives, which may affect their goal achievement and satisfaction. Counselors also assist students, faculty and staff identify other services in the college and in the community that may be helpful. The Center offers over approximately 50 workshops per year in addition to events such as Safe Spring Break and Alcohol Awareness.The Counseling Center is located in the R building in Room 227 (Above Financial Aid).

Students in Recovery
SF Students in Recovery is a peer-based group that provides support, fellowship, and solutions to drug and alcohol problems. Meets weekly on Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Counseling Center Conference Room, R-235.
