The Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo is becoming a Sensory Inclusive Certified Zoo through KultureCity. Do you have a child on the autism spectrum? Come to Quiet Time at the Zoo Saturday, Sept. 28, from 9 – 11 a.m.
Quiet Time at the Zoo will include interactive sensory stations and quiet zones, animal encounters, keeper talks, training demonstrations, food trucks and community resources for individuals on the autism spectrum.

What To Expect
The SF Teaching Zoo will provide noise-dampening headphones, comfort kits, and zookeepers trained by the staff at the University of Florida Center for Autism and Related Disabilities to support the needs of attendees.

- If you have a child on the autism spectrum and are registered with UF CARD, your family will receive free admission for up to 4 people. You must reserve your tickets with this link.
- $8 for adults
- $5 for children (ages 4-12), Seniors (60+), Active Military & Veterans, teachers, firefighters, first responders (EMT/EMS), police, UF students, faculty, staff and retirees (with ID)
- Free for children 3 and under, Zoo members, and Santa Fe College students, staff members, and retirees (with ID)
