Boo at the Zoo is Gainesville's favorite Halloween treat for families!
The students and staff transform the entire zoo into a spooky, but safe, trick or treating event for the entire family. As you trick or treat throughout the zoo, you'll be transported through multiple themed areas, with past themes including Monsters Inc., Nightmare Before Christmas, Lion King, Frozen, and other family favorites. Admission to this one of a kind event is one canned good per person. All goods donated help two food banks, Gainesville Harvest at Santa Fe College, and Catholic Charitie
s, which feed families in need from our community throughout the year.
In addition to trick or treating, entertainment is provided by Danscompany of Gainesville, whose talented dancers perform a "Thriller" trilogy throughout the event. There is an interactive Kids Zone sponsored by Fun 4 Gator Kids with community organizations providing activities and more treats, and Gator Domino's is always on hand to provide pizza and refreshments for a small fee.
Each Halloween, the zoo is closed from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in order to completely transform the zoo into different themed areas with candy stations. Don't forget to bring your camera for some amazing photo opportunities!
Members will receive access to a fast pass line.

Admission
Admission is one canned good per person. Canned goods will be donated to local food banks. Please do not bring your donation in a plastic bag.
