  • 11:30 a.m.

*On Wednesday's, guided tours are generally only available at 11:30 a.m.

It takes approximately one (1) hour to tour our 10 acre shaded facility.

*Please arrive 15 minutes prior your tour in order to settle payment, organize groups, use the bathroom, etc.

Self-Guided Tours

If a tour guide is not available, groups are welcome to do a self-guided tour of the Zoo. Please fill out the registration form to schedule, and zoo staff will get back to you with a confirmation and important information for your self-guided tour.

Combination Tours

**Combination tours are not currently available due to COVID-19 restrictions. Please visit the Planetarium website for information about their reopening and scheduling a group show**

The combination tour of the Zoo and Planetarium has become popular with schools and other organizations. We encourage groups to plan ahead as we must have this tour scheduled ten days in advance. This tour allows groups to visit both areas at a discounted rate. The combination tours generally last an approximate three (3) hours with breaks, lunch and advanced arrival times included.

Planetarium shows range from 30 minute to 60 minute shows. When a combination tour is scheduled, the group must choose a planetarium show they would like to see. View a list of planetarium shows here! Please be advised that if anyone needs to exit the planetarium during a showing, they will not be allowed to re-enter due to safety issues. The Planetarium is only able to accommodate 60 people at a time. If your group is larger than 60 people, you will need to select 2 tour/planetarium times to accommodate the entire group, or split your groups visit between multiple days.

Group Rates

A group rate is available to public school groups that schedule at least 10 days in advance.

One certified teacher per class and certified bus drivers will receive complimentary admission to the Zoo.

An estimate of teachers, chaperones and students that will be participating is required in order to make a reservation.

Lunch

Groups are welcome to use the picnic tables in front of the zoo for lunch or snack time. All lunches and coolers must be kept on the bus or vehicles as the Zoo does not have storage and cannot be responsible for items. Picnic tables are first come-first serve.

To schedule a tour to the zoo, please fill out our online reservation form.
