BACK TO WORK 50+ (BTW50+)

BACK TO WORK 50+ at Santa Fe College is a grant-funded program designed to help persons age 50 and older develop and expand their workplace skills and find well-paying jobs.

Santa Fe College is among the original five colleges selected through a highly competitive selection process by the AARP Foundation. Together, this consortium of colleges will expand their reach to impact more people and generate new career opportunities and greater economic stability for unemployed and underemployed adults 50 years and older.

The job search process has changed and the BTW50+ program helps mature adults become more comfortable with modern skills like; online job applications, computer skills, and video classes. The program also helps participants strengthen their interviewing skills. Past participants share they are more open-minded, self-confident and are more persistent along this journey to a new career in today’s job market.
