Directions for Application
- Separate the edges of the respirator to fully open it.
- Slightly bend the nose wire to form a gentle curve.
- Hold the respirator upside down to expose the two headbands.
- Using your index finger and thumbs, separate the two headbands.
- While holding the headbands with your index finger and thumbs, cup the respirator under your chin.
- Pull the headbands up and over your head.
- Release the lower headband from your thumbs and position it at the base of your neck.
- Position the remaining headband on the crown of your head.
- Conform the nose piece across the bridge of your nose by firmly pressing down with your fingers.
- Continue to adjust the respirator and secure the edges until you feel you have achieved a goad facial fit. Now, perform a Fit Check.
Fitting Instructions
- Follow Directions for Application each time respirator is worn.
- Check facial seal to assure proper fit before entering any contaminated area.
- Adjust nosepiece if there is air leakage around the nose.
- Reposition headbands to secure facial seal around edges of respirator.
- Do not enter a contaminated area if a proper fit cannot be obtained. Follow all instructions and warnings on the use of this respirator, obtain a proper fit, and wear during all times of exposure. Failure to do so will reduce respirator effectiveness and user protection, and may result in sickness or death.
Usage Instructions
- Before use, the wearer must be trained by the employer in proper respirator use in accordance with applicable safety and health standards.
- If the respirator becomes damaged or breathing becomes difficult, leave the area. Discard and replace the respirator.
Cautions/Limitations
- Masks are single use only
- Read all instructions before use
- Upper and lower temperature limits: upper 77F, lower 68F
- Keep mask dry and under 60% humidity
- Keep away from sunlight and radioactivity
- Not for use in atmospheres containing less than 19.5% oxygen
- Not for use in atmospheres immediately dangerous to life or health
- Do not exceed maximum use concentrations established by regulatory standards
- Failure to properly use and maintain this product could result in injury or death
- All approved respirators shall be selected, fitted, used, and maintained in accordance with MSHA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations
- Never substitute, modify, add, or omit parts. Use only exact replacement parts in the configuration as specified by the manufacturer. Refer to users instructions and/or maintenance of these respirators
- NIOSH does not evaluate respirators for use as surgical masks
WARNINGS
- Do not use for sandblasting or to protect against asbestos, lead-based paint, pesticides, oil aerosols, vapors, or gases.
- Do not wear this respirator when conditions prevent a good facial seal. It is important to fit check the respirator each time it is worn.
- This respirator is not for medical use.
- Never alter or modify this product.
KIMTECH™ N95 Pouch Respirator (TC-84A-9042) are NIOSH approved as N95 particulate filter respirators. They provide 95% filtration efficiency of 0.3-micron particles in aerosols free from oil. Time use restrictions may apply. Before occupational use of this respirator, a written respiratory protection program must be implemented meeting all the local government requirements. ln the United States, employers must comply with OSHA 29CFR 1910.134 which includes medical evaluation, training, and fit testing. Follow all instructions and warnings on the use of this respirator. Wear during all times of exposure. Failure to do so will reduce respirator effectiveness and user protection, and may result in sickness or death. If respirator becomes damaged, soiled, or breathing becomes difficult, leave the contaminated area and properly dispose of respirator.

The HALYARD* FLUIDSHIELD* J N95 Particulate filter Respirator and Surgical Masks (84A-7521, 84A-7523, 84A-7518,84A-7520) are NIOSH approved as N95 particulate filter respirators. They provide 95% filtration efficiency of 0.3 micron particles. They meet the CDC Guidelines for TB exposure control.
Intended Use
The FLUIDSHIELD* J N95 Particulate filter Respirator and Surgical Mask is intended for use by operating room personnel and other health care workers to protect both patients and health care workers from transfer of microorganisms, blood and body fluids and airborne particulate materials.

- If the respirator becomes damaged or breathing becomes difficult, leave the Discard and replace the respirator.
WARNING: When properly worn, FLUIDSHIELD* 3 N95 Particulate Filter Respirator and Surgical Mask reduces potential exposure to blood and body fluids as well as airborne microorganisms. This product does not completely eliminate the risk of contracting disease or infection.
REMINDER: Before occupational use of this respirator, a written respiratory protection program must be implemented meeting all the local government requirements. In the United States, employers must comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 which includes medical evaluation, training, and fit testing. Consult the facility's Respiratory Protection Program for further instruction.
These respirators are only approved in the following configurations:
