2020 Research and Creative Scholarly Projects Festival

Congratulations the winners of the 2020 RUE Festival.

The purpose of this festival is to highlight research being done by current SF students. Students can present a poster, a creative project or deliver an oral presentation.

Posters will be judged in one of two categories:

Empirical Research - Empirical research comprises those projects which primarily require data gathering by experiments, surveys, etc. conducted by the same students. Data gathering is guided by a clearly identified research question or hypothesis. Generally speaking, the work in this category is meant to cover projects employing the scientific method. Projects for this category can originate in any department or field of inquiry.

Analytical Research - Analytical research comprised those projects which primarily require students to analyze concepts, interpret texts, and form arguments, etc. Generally speaking, the work in this category includes analyses in support of theses or explanations of difficult concepts, not merely summarization or recitation of known positions. Projects for this category can originate in any department or field of inquiry.

Information on posters and poster templates can be found at  www.sfcollege.edu/rue/poster-
resources/index.

For more information, please see the FAQ for students.

If you are an instructor interested in judging, please email Ramona Miller-Ridlon at ramona.miller-ridlon@sfcollege.edu.

The RUE Research and Creative Scholarly Projects Festival is sponsored by  SF Student Life.
