Audit Courses
Auditing a course allows a student to take a class without benefit of a grade or credit for the course. Students do not have to seek special permission to audit a course. Once registered as an audit student, one may not change from credit to audit or from audit to credit after the drop/add period. Credit will not be granted once the course is complete, nor will any be given at a future date. To request an audit registration for a course(s), visit the Office of the Registrar. Regular tuition and fees are assessed for audit registration. See “Fee Information” for more details about the cost of auditing classes at SF.
Please note: Not all courses are eligible for auditing.
