What is Microbiology and Cell Science?
The Microbiology and Cell Science A.A. degree track prepares students to transfer to a bachelor’s program where you will continue to learn about biological systems on a molecular level.
Students who complete the A.A. program can enroll in SF’s bachelor’s programs, transfer to the University of Florida or another four-year university.
The Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree is a two-year liberal arts degree designed for the student who intends to transfer into a bachelor's degree program. You do not earn an A.A. in a specific major; however, you do have the opportunity to track toward a specific major at a university by choosing a related advisement track at Santa Fe College. If you don’t see a track geared toward your intended transfer major, you may choose General Studies and speak with your academic advisor.
