March 12, 2024 – Santa Fe College (SF) has been officially designated a Collegiate Purple Star Campus for the services it provides at all sites to all active military and veteran students and their families. SF will be listed on the Florida Department of Education’s website as part of the honor.

The Collegiate Purple Star Campus Designation, established by the Florida Legislature and signed into law by Governor DeSantis in June 2023, recognizes schools that demonstrate a commitment to supporting military students and families as they transition to the college environment.

Santa Fe College continues to support those who have served our country. Through SF’s Veterans and Military Success Services (VMSS), veterans and their families can pursue their educational goals. With a thorough understanding of Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) educational benefits, SF provides information and referrals, ensuring veterans have access to academic and career support services and more.

For information about services for veterans at Santa Fe College, contact Veterans and Military Success Services Coordinator Sandra Torres-Pintos at sandra.torres-pintos@sfcollege.edu or call 352-395-5505.
