Information

My name is Nicole Nesberg and I am an adjunct faculty member at Santa Fe College (since 2006).  Please feel free to email me at nicole.nesberg@sfcollege.edu.

I love history and have taught AMH2010, AMH2020 at SF. I specialize in American Indian and African American history.

Elsewhere, I am employed as an adjunct professor of history at Lake Sumter State College, SUNY (State University of New York), and with American Public University Systems / American Military University in Washington, D.C. I have also served at some point as an adjunct professor at Bethune-Cookman (Daytona, FL), Concordia University (Ann Arbor, MI), and Washtenaw Community College (Ypsilanti, MI).

Over my decade+ of instruction I have taught American History I and II, 1945-present, African American History, American Indian History, Western Civilization I and II, and 20th Century Russia.

I received a BA in history from the University of Michigan, 1995; an MS in international affairs from Florida State University, 1997; and, an MA in history from Eastern Michigan University, 2005. I am ABD at the University of Florida with specializations in Native American women, gender and urbanization in the 20th century.

On a personal note, I have two sons who keep me busy. I watch Jeopardy!, cook, Zumba, rabid FOOTBALL fan (both college and pro) and love living in Florida. Finally, I am a proud member of Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians.
