Terry Klenk

Information

Mr. Klenk has been a professor of theatre and humanities at Santa Fe College since 1991. A former assistant curator of costume and textiles for the Western Reserve Historical society where he mounted several years of exhibitions,he also designs costumes for the stage. While every project is his favorite of the moment, past directing credits for Theatre Santa Fe include Falsettos, The Quilt, Three Postcards, The Boys Next Door, A Sence of Place (ACTF) Virgil's Dream, Trial by Jury, Original Musical Revues , Lone Star/Laundry and Bourbon, The All Night Strut, Sweet Charity, and Working! Over 30 productions have received high awards including ACTF entries. Mr Klenk regularly is asked to adjudicate productions (with ACTF and FCSAA, theatre division) throughout the state and region. An accomplished Vocalist and a member of Actors' Equity Association, Mr. Klenk has appeared with companies legionary in Ohio and locally with the Hippodrome State Theatre. He has served and continues to serve on the board of the Florida Theatre Conference (currently as Sec/treasurer) and hosts the annual conference on the Santa Fe campus each fall. He has been a founding member of the Ryan White consortium and regularly serves on that regional board. Perhaps because of his museum background, he is avid collector!  Mr. Klenk teaches a variety of theatre classes in both the A.A. and A.S. Degree tracks and Dramatic Literature an is a past professor of American Humanities and the History of American Performing Arts (Kent State) and is committed to quality teaching, directing and coaching. Mr. Klenk has been recognized by Who's Who in Education and Who's Who in Entertainment.
