About Andrews Center Dual Enrollment Program
The High School Dual Enrollment (HSDE) program is offered by Santa Fe College in cooperation with the School Board of Bradford County This program provides high school students an opportunity to earn college credit before they graduate. In the HSDE program, selected college courses count toward both a high school diploma and a degree from SF. Successful completion of college coursework while dual enrolled makes it possible for students to graduate with a college degree earlier than they otherwise might have.
High school students in the HSDE program will have fees waived for application, tuition and labs. Textbooks and some instructional materials are loaned free of charge. For more information, please contact your child's high school guidance counselor or a college adviser at the SF Andrews Center at 904-964-5382.
Program Options
There are three HSDE options for high school students at Bradford High School; the Academic program, the Technology and Applied Science program and the Fine Arts program.
Academic High School Dual Enrollment
The Academic HSDE program allows students to begin working on the Associate in Arts degree offered by Santa Fe College. Students who qualify for the college academic program will earn college credit to meet their high school graduation requirements. The courses also apply toward SF's Associate in Arts degree. These courses are transferable to schools in-state and to most out-of-state institutions.
Technology and Applied Sciences Dual Enrollment
The Technology and Applied Sciences programs prepare students for employment opportunities in high skill/high wage careers. Only programs not available at the high school or the Bradford Union Vocational Technical Center, which have been agreed upon, will be considered for dual enrollment. Students participating must be a junior or senior and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Students must be recommended by their high school counselor and the selection of the students will be determined by the HSDE director at SF. To participate full-time, students should be 16-19 years of age. Students interested in the Technology and Applied Science Programs should call the Andrews Center at 904-964-5382 for more information.

Bradford students who wish to enroll must make an appointment with the Andrews Center Advisor for assessment. To qualify for the program, a student must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and must show college level work as indicated by either SAT, ACT or PERT scores. Application Process
How to Enroll if you attend Bradford High School
Make an appointment with your high school guidance counselor to find out if you qualify. Your counselor will complete an application form that recommends you for the program and specifies the number of courses for which you may enroll. Attach your ACT or SAT scores to your application. If you do not have ACT or SAT scores, Santa Fe College Andrews Center will provide you with a free placement test called the Computerized Placement Test (PERT). Your test scores determine your eligibility. You will need to call 904-964-5382, or stop by the Andrews Center to make an appointment for the placement test. The PERT is given Monday and Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Andrews Center. PERT testing is also done at Bradford High School at various times throughout the school year. Contact your high school counselor to set up an appointment for testing. Your application must be completed and signed by your parent or guardian. Both the information sheet and application must be submitted to the counselor at the Andrews Center before the college's fall, spring or summer registration. Once you are accepted into the program, you will be asked to make a registration appointment with the Santa Fe College adviser at the Andrews Center, or at Bradford High School during the adviser's visits.
