Health Sciences


The Health Sciences Programs at Santa Fe College offer a variety of degrees and certificates in health care that lead to high wage, high demand careers with outstanding opportunities for professional development. Programs include career and technical certificates, advanced technical certificates, associate degrees and bachelor's degrees. These programs are designed to be accessible to non-traditional students and are offered in response to the current healthcare needs of our community.


Online applications are available for Fall 2019 programs - Registered Nursing, Registered Nursing Bridge, Dental Hygiene, Dental Hygiene Bridge, Dental Assisting, Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, and Respiratory Care.

Applications for Spring 2020 Registered Nursing, Registered Nursing Bridge, Cardiovascular Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Central Sterile Supply and Polysomnography are scheduled to be available by June 1st (date subject to change).

Students may log on to their eSantafe account to apply online to the Health Sciences Programs. In order to apply:

  • Log on to your eSantafe account
  • Select Advisement tab (button)
  • Select Apply to Program (button)
  • Select Apply (blue button)
  • Select Contact Advisor button if advisor assistance is needed. An email will be sent to your advisor. Include your student ID number in the email and a brief message.

Requirements for applying online:

  • Apply to Santa Fe College and complete the new student admissions process. Set up a Santa Fe student email account.
  • Ensure all of your official transcripts have been received by Santa Fe College prior to requesting an application to program. Transcripts are required in order to determine eligibility to apply.
  • Fall 2019 programs - Students currently enrolled in final prerequisite coursework may apply after their grades have posted. If taking summer prerequisite coursework, proof of enrollment is required before a conditional application (override) will be approved.
  • Grades from other institutions must be received by and evaluated by Santa Fe College prior to applying online.
  • All applications must be submitted by the established deadlines (see program information packets for dates).
