GRRATE was formed through the guidance of a steering committee composed of subject matter experts, principal investigators and a project specialist.
An advisory committee of community stakeholders, educators and industry professionals meets semiannualy to support and review the project's progress and tethers GRRATE's efforts to community needs.
The Steering Committee plays an essential part in monitoring the quality and progress of the GRRATE project, (Guitars, Robotics and Rocketry Advanced Technological Education), as it develops. The Committee is instrumental in implementing and sustaining project management standards, structures and policies, addressing external threats and issues that could impact the project, and approve changes that need to be made. The top priority of the Committee is to make sure that the project is a success.

The Advisory Committee works together to ensure that the program is delivering learning that is current and relevant to current business, industry, labor, and professional employment practices. The committee provides support and advice to the GRRATE project and identifies best practice standards. Committee members provide a connection to and ongoing exchange of information and ideas with members of the community to support public relations roles and marketing of the program.
