Types of Scholarships
Scholarships are a form of financial assistance awarded to students based on specific criteria that has been determined by the donor or organization providing the funds. Scholarships are known as "gift aid", meaning it does not have to be repaid.
If you are willing to spend the time to apply for scholarships, it can pay off for you - literally! Many scholarships have application deadlines, and new scholarships are added all the time so check back frequently.

There are more scholarship opportunities!
There are countless scholarships offered by outside businesses, organizations, etc. It would be difficult to list them all here. We recommend visiting our Career Exploration Center located on the Northwest Campus, Building R, Room 217. The CEC Team can help students with finding scholarships that pertain to a certain program or career field.
