Have a great idea? Turn it into a business!

The Bradford County Incubator is a program provided by the Santa Fe College Center for Innovation & Economic Development in partnership with CareerSource North Central Florida, a federally funded agency and grant recipient. It can help you become self-employed. Training and support are created around each participant's target business in a process-based approach.

The training program is available at no cost to eligible participants.

Specialized instruction in the areas of:

  • Starting a small business
  • Understanding how to hire and maintain employees
  • How to market products and services
  • How to purchase effectively
  • E-Business; is it needed and effective for your business
  • Record keeping essentials
  • Tax facts
  • Planning - what is important and what is optional

Training

Training will consist of classroom education, workshops, and one-on-one coaching, and includes:

  • Clarifying your business concept
  • Branding for success
  • Reviewing your product
  • Knowing your competition
  • Marketing research
  • Refining your message
  • Building your team
  • Defining how you do business
  • Basics of money management and accounting

To be eligible for a CareerSource NCFL scholarship, an individual must be:

  • 18+ years of age or older, and
  • a U.S. citizen, or authorized to work in the U.S., and
  • unemployed or underemployed (earning less than $25 per hour), and
  • males born on or after January 1, 1960 must be registered for selective service.

The program is offered for a limited time only. Acceptance into the training program is competitive. Space is limited so don't miss this unique opportunity!
