Overview
The Student Ambassador Program application can be submitted year-round. Interviews take place as needed (generally in the Fall and Spring) to fill openings for upcoming semesters. Any student who meets qualifications and applies prior to an application deadline will be considered for an open position for the upcoming term.
To Apply:
- Complete, or be enrolled, in at least 15 SF credits.
- Have a minimum 3.0 Cumulative and SF GPA.
- Complete the Student Ambassador application.
- Submit or have submitted a FAFSA application (Exceptions include International Students and DACA students).
- Submit 2 Letters of Recommendation to chelsea.patrick@sfcollege.edu.
- You will be contacted via your SF email to schedule interviews.
Selection Process:
- Interviews will be scheduled with qualifying applicants during a designated interview period.
- The number of positions filled during each semester will vary.
Ambassador Expectations:
- Be enrolled in at least 9 credits in the Fall/Spring semesters and 3 credits in the Summer.
- Be able to attend weekly, one-hour meetings.
- Have flexible schedules to assist with events and tours.
- Have SF Spirit.
- Demonstrate strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Exhibit leadership, initiative, dependability, discipline, and enthusiasm.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Have a commitment to diversity and cultural pluralism.
