Overview
Studies show participating in orientation leads to college completion – and we have created an exciting and informative program tailored to the needs of our new students. All students new to Santa Fe College will be required to complete a series of online orientation segments before they can register for classes. In one segment, students learn about the resources the college offers to help them succeed. Other parts of orientation cover critical college policies, important aspects of financial aid, tips for success, and more.
New Student Orientation and Convocation
Students access New Student Orientation through the My Status screen after logging into eSantaFe. While New Student Orientation is completed prior to initial enrollment, New Student Convocation is completed after students register for their first semester at the college. The on-campus option for Convocation, called Santa Fe Live, will not be held this year due to concerns about public health. New Student Convocation will only be available online in Fall 2020 and Spring 2021.
