DiversityEdu is an online professional development curriculum that covers skills for building an inclusive culture on campus. DiversityEdu offers engaging, practical content using evidence-based methodology. Learners who complete this course gain actionable insights and practical skills to recognize and mitigate bias, respond to microaggressions, and to focus on impact over intent.
SF offers two DiversityEdu courses:
- DiversityEdu for Faculty and Staff: a general course for all faculty and staff working in higher education.
- Skills for Academic Searches and Hiring: designed specifically for hiring authorities and screening committee members.
The courses are self-paced and typically take 2-3 hours to complete. Employees who complete these trainings receive a certificate of completion for their HR file.
