How do I access eSantaFe?

Where is my class?

  • login to eSantaFe (www.sfcollege.edu/eSantaFe)
  • enter your student ID number (no dash) and password
  • under "registration," select "view schedule"

What if I forget my student ID number?

  • on the main webpage, click on the eSantaFe login link in the upper right corner
  • click on "forgot ID"
  • enter your SSN and date of birth to view your SF ID number

What if I am locked out of eSantaFe and need my password reset?

Follow these steps or visit the Student Services lab in R-226 for immediate help.

  • login to eSantaFe
  • enter your student ID number (no dash) and password
  • click on "forgot/locked password"
  • enter your date of birth
  • enter your SSN
  • answer the selected security question (2 tries to answer correctly)
  • if you answer the question correctly you will be transferred to the "change password" page to change your password
  • if you can't answer the security question after 2 tries, a message will display to restart the process

Where can I park?

Students may park in any white spaces. The blue parking spaces are reserved for faculty/staff and you'll get a ticket if you park there. Save hunting time and park in the Grass Overflow Lot north of the gym and Building O. Access this lot by turning onto NW 91st Street off of NW 39th Avenue (across from Publix). This is the only place where you may park on the grass!

What is a fee schedule (fee slip) and where can I get one?

  • A fee schedule (fee slip) is a copy of a student's class schedule. To get a copy of your fee schedule:
  • Log in to eSantaFe
  • choose "view schedule" on the left side of the page
  • select "print schedule"
  • or visit the Records office in R-112 and ask the clerk at the front counter for a printout of your schedule; you must show a picture identification for this.

What do I need to get a student ID? Where do I go and does it cost?

You only need to bring a government issued photo ID. The first student ID card is free; replacements cost $10. Get your student ID at the Center for Student Leadership and Activities, S-Lobby. Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Andrews, Blount, Davis, Perry and Watson students can apply for an ID and be photographed at their respective centers; the ID cards take about a week to process. Kirkpatrick Center students get ID cards at the NW Campus (excepting EMS students).

Does SF have wireless Internet access?

Yes, WiFi is available in all Northwest Campus buildings and also in many outdoor areas. To connect to the wireless Internet, select Airwave from the list of available networks in your wireless client application. You are required to read and agree to the Acceptable Use Policy before access to the network is granted. Support for the wireless network comes from Airwave Networks. Call 1-877-778-9283 at any time SF is open to get help with the wireless connection. WiFi at the centers will begin rolling out by the end of Fall term.
How can I get into a class that's full?
During the drop/add period (see college calendar) you must obtain permission from the appropriate department chair to enroll in a full class.

What is SF's federal school code?

The Santa Fe College federal school code is 001519. Students will need this code to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Who can help me with financial aid?

The Financial Aid office is in building R, room 122. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

How much time do I have to drop and get a refund?

For the Spring 2017 semester, the deadline to drop a course with a refund is listed below. The full list of critical dates for current and future semesters may be found on the Records Office website.

  • Spring 2016 – January 10, 2017
  • Spring A – January 6, 2017
  • Spring B – March 15, 2017
  • Spring D – January 10, 2017

When will I get my money back from a canceled class?

College refund policy dictates that fees will be refunded in full for course work dropped during the drop/add period or cancelled by the college. However, the federal refund/repayment policy supersedes  the college refund policy for students receiving financial aid and completely withdrawing from the college. Allow 4-5 weeks for processing.

Are RTS bus schedules available on campus?

You can pick up RTS (Regional Transit System) bus schedules at the bookstore (S-1) and the Center for Student Leadership and Activities (S-Lobby). SF students may ride standard RTS standard buses routes for free throughout Gainesville by showing their current SF ID to the driver.

Where can I print and make copies?

There's low cost printing and copying located in the Student Leadership and Activities Lab in S-167 (Rec Room), and Library labs Y-116 and Y-204. Printing/copying: $.10 per B&W impression and $.75 per color impression. Cash only. Scanning is free in the Library.

Where is academic testing located?

Testing is at the Assessment Center in Building G, room 25. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.

Is there a counselor I can talk to?

Yes, in the Counseling Center, located in Building R, room 227. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Phone number is 352-395-5508. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged. Service is free and available for personal, academic and career counseling, and crisis intervention.

Where is the Disabilities Resource Center (DRC)?

The DRC is in Building S, room 229 or call 352-395-4400. The DRC provides auxiliary learning aids and accommodations for students with disabilities in their educational endeavors.

Is there somewhere for students to work out?

Yes, visit the Fitness Center in the gym (Building V). It's free to SF students with a current student ID. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Fridays from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Is there a nurse on campus?

Yes, the Student Health Care Center is in S Building, room 120 and provides many free and low-cost services to current SF students. Call 352-381-3777 for information or an appointment.
