An Invitation to Your Future
The Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management prepares students for a wide and diverse set of career choices across governmental, non-profit, and for-profit settings. The effective and efficient management of organizations - of any size, in any setting - requires managers who possess three attributes:
- thorough self-knowledge and self-direction
- knowledge and skills for "task accomplishment", such as creating budgets, reports, financial analysis, as well as familiarity with technology, that apply across many disciplines from law to ethics to marketing to organizational design and behavior to finance and accounting
- the interpersonal (relationship) skills to work with a diverse mixture of backgrounds, values, interests, and motivations.
This program is designed for students possessing a two-year degree (A.S. or A.A. or equivalent), regardless of field. Many students move from a technical field (CVT, IT, for example) into this program as part of their career progression into management.
For incoming freshman, the Santa Fe program in business administration is an excellent route to success in this program.
