About the Blount Center
In addition to offering college and GED-preparation courses, the Blount Center also serves as an outreach and educational facility for citizens in Gainesville and surrounding communities. Center faculty and staff deliver training programs for business, industry and employees of city and county government. The center houses free meeting rooms for civic, business and professional groups.
This urban hub is ideally located for both east and west Gainesville residents. With campus only steps away from shopping, businesses and the University of Florida, the Blount Center makes it easy to take a class during a lunch break or get your education while others deal with rush hour traffic.
With day and night classes for GED, associate and bachelor's degrees, the Blount Center is a smart choice. Looking for a complete list of classes at the Blount Center, check out the schedule on eSantaFe. Log in as Guest with no password or use your SF ID and password. Once logged in click My Classes on the left, Register Classes and then choose Downtown Blount Center (DBC) for the Campus.
And while you're here, why don't you stop in and talk with one of our advisers, who can talk with you about all the programs SF offers. Meet them today!

Students: The Blount Center offers several options for facilitating exams for students outside of class time. For the sake of convenience, those students taking online courses can coordinate with the instructor to schedule a time for their exam to be proctored here instead of the NW campus. For those students who attend the Blount Center and need to make up an exam, we can also facilitate their exams in the same manner. We welcome you to make use of our safe, quiet and secure testing facilities. All testing is by appointment only. Tests should be scheduled at least two business days in advance of the proctoring date. Proctoring at the Blount Center is for online and Blount Center students only. If you have any questions, please contact: email@example.com.
Instructors: In order to schedule a proctored exam, please download, fill out, and save the Blount Center Proctoring Form. Email the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org. After submitting the form, please have the student contact us at the above email address to arrange a time to complete their exam. Allow at least two full business days to secure an appointment time. Students should report to the Lab Manager in DC-02 at the scheduled date and time to complete their exams.
